It was very nice and relaxing; getting dinner at night in this area is hard if you don’t speak Japanese. The private hot spring overlooking the lake was a downside.

The lake‑view area was good. The price was high even though dinner wasn’t included.

Near Lake Suwa, the view was great and the building had a classic inn feel, which was wonderful. All the staff were pleasant people. No complaints.

I still remember Nakai’s bright welcome at check‑in, and watching the fireworks over Lake Suwa from the room was fantastic; the dinner‑and‑breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. There was nothing in particular to complain about.

The hotel accommodates electric cars, the staff are always smiling, kind and attentive, the onsen was wonderful and the food left me very pleased. I would have liked a few more power outlets.
