It was a place for animals. Everything else was not good.

The room was reasonably comfortable and clean, and the view from the upstairs kitchen/lounge was excellent. The kitchen counter was sticky with grime and showed no sign of recent cleaning; I had to scrub a cup thoroughly just to brew tea. That starkly contrasts with the very clean shared kitchen at my previous night's stay. A trickle of water from the bathroom faucet added to the hygiene issues, and the shower area looked more likely to leave you dirty than clean. The owners seem mainly focused on giving local info to first‑time visitors, but the hostel itself needs much more attention to reach the standard I’ve seen elsewhere while traveling in Palestine.

I had a wonderful time in a unique place with amazing people. The hostel sits in the heart of the old town in a historic building. The owners are kind, open, and hospitable. I’ll definitely come back. I liked everything.

“Outstanding hospitality. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Memorable stay.”

“Made to feel welcome” is an understatement. Essam and Yazid are wonderful hosts—friendly, sociable, and very interesting to talk to. They were respectful and gave guests plenty of space. My room was excellent, with a comfortable bed, and they clearly keep everything clean. They were also incredibly responsive and made life much easier for a non‑Arabic speaker.

“the hosts are very outgoing and friendly and give out very good suggestions where to go what to see etc”

I was thrilled to find the hotel smack in the heart of the old town, surrounded by cafés and convenience stores, and the place itself was spotless with an incredible view of the whole city.
