Modern accommodation and panoramic views on Lake Argentino and Cerro Calafate are the features of the Picos Del Sur. The property also offers free private parking and Wi-Fi in public areas. The spacious rooms of the hotel include private bathrooms with hairdryer and toiletries. They feature cable TV reception, safety deposit box and minibar. At the Hotel Picos Del Sur a fusion of international and local dishes are served by the staff of the restaurant. Guests can also relax and enjoy drinks at the bar, which presents a rural wooden décor. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center of Calafate and another 10-minute walk from the bus terminal, from where transfers depart to different places of attraction, such as the Perito Moreno Glacier, El Chalten and Torres del Paine in Chile. We offer our own transfer service to and from the airport, as well as private and regular bus services to the P. Moreno Glacier, El Chalten, the ports from which the navigations depart and Torres del Paine.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the common areas are very comfortable. The room is of lower quality than the common areas, but acceptable; the location is only a few blocks from the centre, though there’s a steep climb. Overall, a very good hotel.

The place is beautiful, spotless, and the staff are incredibly friendly, especially Luis who is always attentive and smiling. The breakfast is very complete, the facilities are in excellent condition, and the room is super clean. It surpassed my expectations ☺️☺️

The location is good, and the reception and service staff are friendly and willing to provide any information or service requested. The room lacks good internet service and cable TV.

The hotel feels cozy, clean, and the staff are attentive and kind, always ready to meet our needs. They provide lunch and dinner. In the room we stayed on the first floor, the internet didn’t work. It seems the internet only works on the following floor and in the lobby. The room lacks a minibar. Breakfast was satisfactory, but only offered one fruit option—an apple.
