“Clean, tidy, good location, but small.”
The room was clean and tidy and only a few minutes walk to many shops and restaurants. The room is very small.
“spokojenost”
The accommodation is close to Termini station (2 streets away). The room with a bathroom was clean. The kitchenette is shared for 2 rooms. It is suitable for sleeping.
The host was very friendly and welcoming, great location, very clean
“Mixed feelings on last stop of our European adventure”
The host was very friendly and welcoming. He happily supplied softer pillows and duvets after check‑in. I felt safe and secure with a pin code at the first gate, a key for the second gate, and a pin code to access the entrance that keeps the kitchen and rooms off. The location was very quiet. The host dried our laundry for us. At check‑in we were told we could use the kitchen and washing machine at no cost, but on day two a man told us there was a cost. An older lady, who had explained that this contradicted the check‑in instructions and who had offered to dry our laundry, forfeited this. This should be noted on the listing. We appreciated the host being available to inspect the room at 6.30 am on the day of our departure so we could catch the train to the airport. The distance to Termini (airport transfers) and the train station for our Vatican City visit was 3‑5 minutes. The distance to attractions is as stated – 20‑30 minutes walk. We felt €100 per night was expensive when we discovered how very compact the unit and bathroom were and that the kitchen and washing machine were not included. The photos on the listing felt deceiving. We were also required to pay a €100 cash bond on arrival, which is excessive. The beds and pillows were hard, but the host did supply softer pillows when requested. One roll of toilet paper was in the bottom drawer of the bathroom, which looked like leftover rolls from previous guests. The kitchen is shared with another unit, and we learned after check‑in that there were additional charges to use the kitchen and washing machine. Because of this, we only used the space to fill our water bottles. Unfortunately, the guests in the other room left their dishes and a mess on more than one occasion. We cleaned up after the first guests, but notified the host the second time as we didn’t feel responsible for tidying up after other guests. We felt appointments with architects, etc., should have been made when the accommodation was empty. We were notified at short notice, didn’t feel we could say no, and left the unit to accommodate. Footwear, the same as shared in another review, was left in the room.
There was no flexibility with check‑in. I arrived at the address half an hour before check‑in for a physiological issue, hoping for help, but NOTHING happened. I had to wait.
