“Solo di passaggio”
The quiet landscape was the strategic spot for the tour we had planned. The room was spacious and clean with slightly dated furnishings, just like the rest of the building, and the entrance hall was a dining room. Because we had read good reviews, we chose the breakfast at 15 euros per person and it turned out to be a bit embarrassing for that price. We got a brioche per person, a couple of sandwiches, packaged preserves, and when we asked for butter they brought us two mini panettini. The cappuccino looked like it was made on an office machine with powdered milk and instant coffee. I probably would have spent less and eaten better at a local pastry shop.
