Beautiful location with interesting history, staff were super friendly and attentive. The room was very spacious. Very quiet environment, really close to the (current) residence of the new king. The bed was very comfortable and the price was reasonable for Norwegian standards in principle. Parking for cars is free and there is enough space. The hotel clearly needs a refurbishment, both externally and internally. Towels were not replaced during our 2‑day stay; we only found out very late because we were back late in the hotel.

Breakfast was great with everything you need 😊 The location could not be finer and the stay ended with a cozy horse ride and dinner with the world’s best food at Holtmark restaurant 😊🤩👌

A quiet spot with friendly staff, a nice view, and a calm area; breakfast was very tasty. The dining room isn’t wheelchair‑accessible, so people in a wheelchair have to go down a few steps.

The old building feels cozy. The bed was good, the blankets soft, and we slept very well.
