The staff were friendly and service‑oriented, but I’ve never experienced so much noise at a hotel before. Because of the location I changed rooms twice, yet the noise from the main road outside made it feel like I was on a racetrack.

I requested to stay in the same room as my previous visit and it was granted; the laundry service was quick and the staff friendly. However, upon arrival I was charged a higher amount than what was indicated at the time of booking. The young man at reception said it was due to an “upgrade.” When I checked the room, I found no other price had been applied, even though I had made the exact same booking. I raised the issue at reception, which required discussion with the manager. Eventually the full amount I had paid was refunded and the correct amount was charged. Additionally, it was very disruptive that for the first two or three days I was woken by housekeeping calling at 07:00, 07:30, and 08:00.
