The accommodation was simple, clean, and in a great spot—just what you need for skiing: a comfy bed, a hot shower or bath, and a place to eat or drink, all of which this place delivered, though it’s starting to look a bit old, yet still offers good value for money.

The location was good, but the breakfast was the most basic I’ve ever had at a hotel and it was terrible.

Breakfast was great, and the proximity to the Happo-One gondola and the ski shuttle bus stops was also convenient, yet the property feels pretty run-down and could use some upgrades, especially the ski equipment lockers on the lower level.

The proximity to the slope lift right across from the hotel was a plus, and the bar at the front was friendly, but the room itself was basic and beige, at least it was clean, and the mattress was uncomfortable. The reception staff were unhelpful and rude, with the same attitude from several different people, and they were very strict about the 16:00 check‑in time—if you ask whether the room is ready before that, you’ll get a stupid answer and a look. There was no Wi‑Fi in the hotel except in a grimy backroom where people had to go for a weak, intermittent connection. The lunch was minimal—hard boiled eggs, roasted items, and three kinds of cereals. They have three shuttles, but we were not allowed to use them because we booked our room through Booking. The room was truly basic, with a tiny bathroom and no bidet, and both the mattress and pillow were uncomfortable.

It was close to the lifts, but it was too expensive for what you get, and the buffet was the worst ever, not opening until 30 minutes before the lifts opened, which was insane.
