The hotel sits about 600 m outside the western gate, making a walk to the ancient city very convenient. Several restaurants are nearby. Our room was on the second floor, and the dedicated luggage lift to that floor was a real help. The room and bathroom are fairly spacious. On the roof, a large terrace lets you see part of the ancient city. The bathroom’s drainage smells unpleasant, and the double room only has one chair, which isn’t very convenient for two guests. For a two‑star hotel, the rates are a bit high and the value for money is average.

The hotel is very nice, with roomy accommodations and a great location, and we enjoyed a very pleasant stay.
