The area is incredibly beautiful just a short walk from Harrachov, a great spot for bike trips or hiking into the surrounding mountains. The pension is about 500 m from the bus stop that takes you everywhere, and there’s a train stop up the hill. The pension is small, which shows in the room sizes and the shared social facilities. Everything inside is clean, though a bit dated; the rooms have a sink, a toilet cabinet, and a large wardrobe. For two people staying more than a couple of days, especially in winter, it’s a bit tight, but the sleep is very good. Breakfast is very standard; the surprise was grilled sausage instead of regular sausages, and the juice dispenser wasn’t refilled. The restaurant is perfect, the food is excellent, and the beer is well‑served and properly poured. The breakfast was a little weaker than usual, specifically I missed juice and better coffee (both from the machine), and there was a limited selection of sweet pastries (only a babka). The shared bathroom for three rooms, so up to six people, has a toilet, sink, and shower cubicle. It’s a small room, and the shower was in worse condition, with water leaking through the wall outside.
