The location is great for walking around Catania; everything is close, only the beach requires a short drive. The host was very helpful, serving delicious sweet breakfasts, and even switched them to savory ones for us, which was a huge plus. Nearby, the cheap parking at Parcheggio R1 AMT lets you leave your car—don’t leave it on the street.

We had a great stay and felt taken care of from the moment we booked. Santi gave us all the help and advice we needed and was very flexible with check‑in and check‑out. The room was clean and pleasant, with air‑conditioning that proved essential in September. The location is decent: about a 15‑minute walk to the airport shuttle, the same to the city centre, and 25 minutes to the bus station. Santi also helped organise an Etna tour that was a perfect 10. We highly recommend and would love to return.

The host was very friendly, communicative, and eager to give local recommendations. There’s a small common area with a coffee machine, and the room was renovated to high standards with tasteful design, a comfy bed, and sheets. It’s in a residential area, a 10‑15‑minute walk to major sights, and spotlessly clean. The windows can be opened safely at night, but the road outside is noisy, so we had to juggle temperature, noise, and fresh air—a small issue we expected, as others had mentioned. The air‑con works perfectly, which is great for those who want to use it.
