Nice location. All good

The view from our room was appreciated, and the size of the room and bed was impressive. The reception wasn’t the warmest, the breakfast was very basic, and the noise was an issue because the room faced the road and the air‑conditioning in the hallway was loud; the hotel was under renovation while we were there.

We’re close to one of the beaches, but Tengale is so large that it’s still hard to get a good spot. We were upgraded for free, which was a big thank you. The balcony with sea view is very enjoyable. The room was very clean. The property offers a good restaurant. We were able to check in late. There was no shower gel in the room, no water bottle, though it could be requested. We had a small issue with the payment being advertised as higher, but we managed to resolve it.

Thanks to the owner and hotel staff! The hotel faces the highway on the front. Inside it’s a calm atmosphere. We were in the off‑season, almost no guests, and sometimes we had to look for staff – there was nobody in the lobby, but it didn’t cause problems. The first and second floors are occupied by the restaurant, the rooms are on the third and fourth. Our room was on the third and the balcony really had an ocean view! However, a new restaurant was built on the opposite side and now it partially blocks the view. The room is spacious, there’s enough space for three people, plenty of lighting, each spot has its own switch. The room has a ceiling fan and an air‑conditioner. On the balcony there are two chairs and two small tables. If you pull the table and put it between the beds, it’s quite comfortable for three to sit. The bathroom is also spacious, with cold/hot water and bath amenities. Breakfasts were hearty but not very varied: omelette, toast, tea/coffee, juice. We also ate there: the food was tasty, portions were large and the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to try the whole menu, but they cook well… and unlike other restaurants the dishes aren’t salty! In the end the fries, rice, fish, and other items were tasty! Because the room windows face the road, it’s noisy, but by night the traffic decreases and it doesn’t disturb sleep too much. At checkout the owner arranged a taxi for us and also prepared lunch for our trip in aluminum containers – we ate at the airport nicely and satisfactorily for 2,000 rupees for three. Thanks for that! The beach is reached by crossing the road, but unlike Unawatuna it’s quite easy to cross, about 3–5 minutes. For a perfect stay I’d add a safe, a few plates, and a kettle to the room, otherwise everything is great!

The room was super clean, the A/C worked well, and the views were amazing. The host and staff were very nice and the food was excellent. I had lunch and dinner there for my whole stay. I’d definitely come back.
