The hotel sits in a nice spot and the food was hot, with a decent-sized pool and helpful staff. However, the room wasn’t as clean as it could be, and there was no lift to the first floor, so we had to haul our luggage up a spiral staircase.

We arrived and had to wait 15 minutes before any reception staff were available to check us in.

The spa facilities were good.

Everyone was friendly and the spa was comfortable; the staff were helpful, and the room and bathroom were spacious. The overall environment—house, grounds, and ambience—was pleasant. Breakfast was basic but tasty, and there was plenty of free parking. On the downside, the food options were generally average and pricey, not a treat for foodies but fine for snacking. Housekeeping was inconsistent; it sometimes missed nooks and crannies, especially behind bedside cabinets, and the bathroom, otherwise spotless, had mouldy sealant.

The staff were very nice and welcoming, but the place was very dingy, with mould on the bathroom walls and tiles that were barely attached to the wall.
