The place was comfortable, spotless and well run, and the staff were friendly, but the road layout around the M1 junction made navigation tricky.

The reception team were polite, professional, and welcoming, and the bed was very comfortable, yet the bar and restaurant service was poor: chairs were stained and dirty, tables weren’t cleared or wiped between guests, bar staff were chatting instead of attending to customers, and the outdoor heaters weren’t working.
