The spot is great, but the air‑conditioning keeps acting up.

The historic building and the location were nice, but the room lacked any service, there was no nightstand so I had to put my phone, glasses, etc. on the floor; the air‑conditioning was basically just a fan and very noisy, the pillows were so low they seemed non‑existent, the blackout curtain didn’t work, there was no mini‑fridge, the modern bathroom’s shower siphon fell and had to be held with one hand which was uncomfortable, and there was no coat rack.

The central location was good, the owner agreed to move the check‑in up to 13:00, the bathroom was renovated, there was a hot‑water shower heater, the air‑conditioner was present and working, and the room was spacious. However, there were 70 steps with no elevator, no fridge at all (not even a tiny one) to keep a cold drink in the sweltering heat, the decor was old‑fashioned, but at least the bathroom was renovated. Check‑in was scheduled for 15:30, and a tourist tax was added on top of the total shown on booking as “total taxes included”.
The place is great, the room was clean and the bathroom was spacious.
