The staff were incredibly friendly and nice, the restaurant was great but a bit pricey, and the grounds were a dream—very green, spacious, and simply beautiful for relaxing.

The separate bungalows gave a real sense of privacy while still being near the river and La Fortuna’s main attractions; the staff were excellent and we especially loved the Cuenca restaurant, with amazing service and great food, though a few more hooks for clothes and a couple of extra chairs in the bungalow would have been handy.

The staff were attentive and the room was clean; the food was also very good.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The only downside was that check‑out is at 11:00 am, which feels too early given how spectacular the place is.
