Staying at this guest house was a special experience. Good location, a good variety of fresh Japanese meals. Very friendly and helpful host. Plenty of space. The hot water bath downstairs was excellent and we enjoyed it a lot. The rooms had no chairs to sit on, and getting hot water from the toilet upstairs was problematic.

I stayed at Keisuke’s guest house and found it genuinely unique; he’s super friendly, speaks English well, and always upbeat. He cooked fresh fish dishes for both breakfast and dinner that were delicious. The beach nearby was dirty, and the futon was hard to sleep on if you’re not used to it.

We absolutely loved our time at Uedaya guest house—my kids were sad to leave and would definitely return if we visit Japan again. The food was fantastic, and Keisuke was incredibly helpful and kind, making the whole experience memorable.

Keisuke cooked a delicious dinner and breakfast for us, and everything else was perfect—no complaints, just a great stay.

The host was very friendly and open, and we had pleasant chats. The Japanese-style dinner and breakfast were exceptionally tasty. For Europeans, sitting on the floor to eat and sleep isn’t very comfortable; the futons were thin, making sleep uncomfortable.
