Everything was spot‑on; my room overlooked the garden and I could see the koi swimming, the staff were excellent—especially Mito‑chan—and the onsen was gorgeous, with no issues at all.

An incredible experience, our first Ryokan.

The garden was wonderful and the food delicious; there was even a small stream inside the hotel building with koi swimming, which surprised us, and the grounds felt like a maze. The young staff in charge didn’t discuss local details, though they did their job properly.
