Breakfast was very satisfying, the spa met my needs, and the place is distinctive and well maintained, especially outside. However, the room cleanliness and care were lacking, and the reception’s lack of hospitality regarding some missing items was disappointing.

The welcome was warm, the staff helpful, the food good, and the outdoor hot tub was a highlight. Unfortunately the spa was closed, which was a let‑down, but the outdoor hot tub made up for it.

The spa and pool were closed, but that didn’t bother me. I loved the overall hotel experience; it’s an old‑school property but not haphazard. Everyone did a good job. I did dislike the menu, which was too limited.
