The old hotel was beautiful, clearly steeped in history, with a fabulous garden, great views, and a good location; however, the metal bunk beds made a lot of noise.

The hotel has a bar and a restaurant in the lobby, and the bed was comfortable, but the receptionist was very rude and the towels were basic—everything had to be rented.

The location in Interlaken was brilliant, the bar stayed open, and the staff were very friendly.

The view was really good, the room was clean and not crowded, and having a private toilet was honestly the best part; the rooms were spacious and the whole place was well designed, and because I stayed only one night I didn’t encounter any negatives—everything was comfortable and met my expectations.
