I was satisfied with the value for money and got exactly what I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel sits in a quiet spot surrounded by a beautiful setting. As a parent with a small child, the playroom was a great feature, and the parents’ lounge with tables let us bring drinks in. On the downside, meals often required a short wait for a table, and the dining room didn’t have enough capacity for the number of guests, though the staff were very helpful, informing us when we had to wait and showing us where we could sit. The playroom carpet should be cleaned and vacuumed more often. The room we stayed in had been partially renovated to make it more pleasant: the bathroom floor, washbasin and taps, TV, mattress, and the tiles were painted. Several spots were damaged and the wall needs refurbishment, but this also keeps the price reasonable since the building is old, and that didn’t bother us.
