The location was fine. The room was in bad shape, the shower didn’t work, and the water was only lukewarm at best.

“Scammed booking! Be careful with third party bookings with this motel”

The room was clean and the bed comfy. I felt ripped off: I arrived late at night, had booked through a third‑party site, and they demanded a credit card in my name for a deposit, which I didn’t have. They wouldn’t accept debit or cash, and I was told to cancel online with a provider I couldn’t reach. They kept the payment, then let me book on the spot and pay cash, which was too late to find another place. A friend offered to e‑transfer to him so he could book with his card, which was convenient but ended up costing me double for the room.

The lights went out twice during the night, so the air conditioning stopped working and the room became very stuffy. We first thought the AC, which had already been running poorly, had broken. Then we realized there was no power. We had to go to reception in the middle of the night and ask for the power to be turned on. This happened twice a night, instead of sleeping.

The room was newer or had been recently renovated. It was next to a liquor store, which was super convenient.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was nicely decorated. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. It seems the main part of the hotel was recently renovated or redone. I loved the walk‑in shower with a rain head. The shampoo and other toiletries were good quality. I wish the water was a bit hotter. There wasn’t really anything I didn’t like.
