Laem Tukkata beach Koh Mak

“Great Staff, great facilities.... nice large room, the mattress was great!”

The staff were really helpful: when my motorbike ran out of battery, they fetched a hotel vehicle and had breakfast ready when I asked. The downside is the hotel’s location is far; you can’t reach a store or restaurant unless you have a motorcycle.

“静かでゆったり過ごせた”

There is an unmanned island about a 20‑minute canoe ride away. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room’s air conditioning worked well, letting me sleep comfortably. However, the area is far from the town center, the beach has a lot of gravel making it unsuitable for swimming, and tidal changes sometimes prevent canoeing. In the end, we drove to a distant beach for all three days, ate nearby, and never used the private beach, which was a disappointment.

“เป็นที่พักที่สวยหน้าหาดก็ดี ลงเล่นน้ำได้อาจจะมีหินเล็กน้อย ห้องพักสวยสะอาดมากกลิ่นหอมสะอาดสุดๆ”

The accommodation is quiet and quite private, located near the end of Mak Island before the Tuktak Point viewpoint. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, though there are a few rocks, the water isn’t very deep, and you can walk out to play. The food tastes great, and drinks are included. The owner provides excellent care, and we could rent motorcycles to reach other beautiful beaches on the island. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the bathrooms are large; the overall cleanliness is excellent, and the rooms smell pleasant.

“Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Alles sehr sauber und neu ausgestattet.”

The location is directly on the beach.

The beach is nice and small, a bit off‑the‑beaten‑path; if you want peace, this is the spot. The mattress was extremely hard.
