The staff were friendly, warm, courteous, and professional. Their hospitality added to the overall experience and made my stay enjoyable. The best: Receptionist was Rita. Dining hostess was Salome. Waiter was Ngari. There were numerous power outages, and the room felt a little empty; I would suggest adding extra furniture and/or tables and chairs, especially in the living room.

Eunice and Rita at reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was superb. We left thrilled and had nothing to complain about.

The hotel has swimming pools, including a “river” pool; the food is tasty, rooms are spacious with large terraces overlooking the Indian Ocean, and the staff are extremely friendly. If you need a lift to Mombasa, shopping, or visiting, ask Evans. The downside is the lack of pool bars and alcoholic drinks, but if you don’t want to get drunk, it’s an ideal spot to relax before or after a safari adventure.
