The couple running the place were very friendly and always smiling, making every day feel like home. The accommodation is a short walk uphill from the ski slope, but the hotel offers shuttle service. There’s no self‑service laundry, but a paid laundry service is available and convenient. After a day on the slopes, the hot tub in the bath was already ready with warm water – absolutely relaxing. A small sink in the room is handy. Breakfast and dinner are both generous, refined, and the bread is excellent; dinner can be ordered through the hotel, with daily menus and prices that are all tasty, so you don’t have to go out. The Wi‑Fi is very weak, basically no internet, so it’s best to download videos beforehand.

“值得再次入住”

A huge thank you to Tomo and Hiro for their warm reception; we enjoyed five days and four nights. The inn provides daily shuttle to the ski area, discounted lift tickets, and ski equipment rentals. Tomo’s cooking is superb; the breakfast bread is delicious, and daily dinner reservations offer high‑quality meals that let us rest after a day of skiing. The pork hot pot made by Tomo is especially recommended – even though that day we ate a late lunch and a small dinner, the flavors lingered, and Tomo even helped us with a discount when billing. Hiro’s smile is very comforting; because our departure plans were still undecided, he remained patient and communicative to ensure a smooth check‑in. Thank you to the couple for their thoughtful hospitality. Everything was great.

“Fantastic”

We had an amazing stay; the hospitality was outstanding and we felt very welcome with our 1‑year‑old. The location is convenient, just a short walk or shuttle to the ski field, and the dinners were the best we’ve had in Japan. As described, the bathrooms are shared in the traditional Japanese open‑plan style, which made privacy a bit uncomfortable, especially with a baby to keep an eye on. The etiquette seems to be that you wait until the shower or bath is free before entering. This isn’t a fault of the accommodation.

“Great stay!”

We had a great time at the lodge. The room was a good size. Breakfast every morning was excellent, fresh and tasty, especially the apple jam 😊😊 The drop‑offs and pick‑ups at the ski resort made our days easier. We would definitely come back.

We were two couples staying three nights at DO Sports Plaza, skiing at Madarao and Tangram resorts. We really enjoyed DO Sports and the local ski areas. The owners were delightful and served a basic, fresh breakfast with plenty of good coffee. The owners were wonderful and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
