The outdoor setting is charming, pleasant and calm, and the reception is friendly. The rooms are basic, lacking even a kettle and coffee stick, infested with insects, no Wi‑Fi, and the place feels abandoned.

The castle itself is stunning, the pool is superb … it seems a few rooms have been renovated but not all yet. The person who greeted us was very friendly and attentive. Our room was in a tower outside the castle; the décor is very old‑fashioned but still comfortable and clean, yet the lights (bulbs & lamps) become quite gloomy at night – a few inexpensive upgrades would help.

The pool and the setting were decent, but the room was awful – old carpet, bed, and furniture all looked worn out. There was no Wi‑Fi and the network was bad. Everything needs a makeover. The breakfast was non‑existent and not good at all. Luckily it was just one night.
