My daughter and I flew in from NC for a funeral and Danfords was the ideal spot; we could see the ferry and the water again, and Port Jeff looked beautiful. The room was a bit cramped.

The location was convenient, but the room didn’t match the description at all: it was sparsely furnished, had no balcony (the roof deck was inaccessible for a party member with mobility issues), the bed was uncomfortable, and overall the quality didn’t justify the price.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were excellent. However, the village outside made noise, and the ferry stayed loud until 10 pm. The “Village parking” sign meant the hotel had no dedicated parking, so with two events in town we had to walk across town with our bags to check in before moving the car closer.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the room’s water view was great. The parking lot and nearby park areas were dirty; although not on hotel property, more trash pickup would be appreciated.
