The location was great, the house was fully rented out, the garden fence and kitchen were fully equipped, and it was dog‑friendly, but there were mosquitoes.

The house was very cozy in a beautiful setting, yet I’d advise sealing the front door and the screen door so fewer spiders and other critters get in.

“Einfach schön”

I especially liked the location and seclusion; the house was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The fenced garden was ideal for our dog, and the bakery in Sloten is 2.5 km away. Because we could be close to the cows, it’s great that every window has a fly screen. We made full use of the grill, but a larger TV with more German programs would have been nice.

“Mooie plek, mooi huisje.”

The rooms were nice, spacious, and well‑maintained. The location was beautiful, offering plenty of privacy from the outside world. It was tasteful. It didn’t feel very heavy (and there was little to do), but the house was a bit noisy inside and there was some traffic further out. It could always be better. A parasol is recommended as a simple improvement.

“Een echte thuis bij lieve Friese mensen.”

The host was excellent; we could park our cars in a nearby lot. The house was cozy, well‑furnished, very clean, and neat. It was quiet with a garden, truly a vacation. Nothing to complain about, just a pity we only stayed one night.
