The spot was great, but the room stayed hot and stuffy because I couldn't turn the heating off, and it got noisy when other guests came back; the doors and floorboards didn't block sound, and the shower head needs a new one.

I loved the central location and the free parking, and the old building gave the rooms a unique feel; the staff were helpful when I asked for a room change, but the low ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom forced me to switch rooms, and the many stairs and winding corridors made navigation a bit confusing, which is just typical of an old building.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was quiet, and we slept well.

The hotel sits in the center of a nice town, but being so close to the backyard and carpark was a bit intrusive, though I still slept well.

The hotel room was lovely and cosy, though the hot water was too hot; I stayed in room 28, had plenty of tea and coffee, and the breakfast was lovely.
