“Quiet Location, Creaky Beds”
The hotel's location on a quiet street was a real plus, but unfortunately, the creaky and uncomfortable beds were a major letdown. The kitchen smells wafted up to our room on the second floor the whole time we were there, which was pretty annoying. Still, the peaceful surroundings made up for some of the issues, and the staff were helpful when we needed them. Overall, it was a bit of a mixed bag.
“Not Quite Up to Scratch”
The hotel's location was great, but unfortunately, the second stove in the kitchenette was out of order, which was a bit of a problem. The fridges in the kitchen area were also pretty grimy. On the plus side, the staff were helpful and the room itself was spotless. But the lack of a coffee maker in the kitchen was a bit of a letdown, especially considering the hotel's overall standard.
“Great location, shame about the noise”
Great location, but unfortunately, the noise at night made it hard to sleep. I only stayed for one night, so it's hard to give a full review.
“Great Location, Room for Improvement”
The location of this place is fantastic, with loads of space for secure parking. However, the communal kitchen could do with a bit more TLC - it's a shame when people leave their food in the fridge without clearing it out.
“Not Worth the Hassle”
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that this place didn't even have a toilet in the room. You'd think that's a basic requirement, but nope. What's even more ridiculous is that they expect you to use a shared toilet and shower with a handful of other rooms on the same floor. I mean, come on. It's just not acceptable. Needless to say, I won't be back.
