Service was excellent, staff were very attentive and caring from start to finish. Little touches like a complimentary bear for guests and bowls of fresh apples were nice. The location was within easy walking distance of all the key sights in Christchurch. The only issue was that room 206 was right next to a stairwell and the elevators, so we all had a very bad night’s sleep because of constant noise.

The hotel is pleasant and well‑located, and it’s easy to reach by car. The breakfast could offer a wider variety, and overall the place feels more like a 4 star than a 5 star.
