“Absolutely perfect stay!!”

I stayed in a massive room with a stunning view of the hill behind the hotel, and the food was tasty while the staff were fantastic. Because I checked in late at night, I was granted an extended checkout time. The only downside was that the gate entrance needs leveling for cars with low clearance.

“Epashikino is a good place to be”

From the moment Serena welcomed me, everything felt warm and welcoming; the accommodation was clean and comfortable, the breakfast selection varied, and the checkout flexibility was a bonus. I also appreciated the sparkling clean pool. The only gripe was that it was World Cup time and the screens were a bit too small.

“Avoid if you can”

Unfortunately, my group's experience at this hotel was marred by poor service from start to finish. We waited over two hours for our food to arrive, and when it did, there were mistakes with our orders and even plastic in the food. To add insult to injury, the staff seemed to find the situation amusing, which was not exactly comforting.

This resort allows outside guests to use the pool, which made the area quite crowded and made it difficult to leave my towel unattended. The food and rooms were okay, but not exceptional. On the positive side, it was a quick 1-hour drive to Lake Naivasha from here. However, I had some issues with the reception staff, who seemed pushy about getting us to pay extra for things. They helped with our airport transfer, but then asked for additional payment.
