The spot next to our evening venue was spot on, with the Tap House right next door offering great drinks and food and a staff that was excellent. The room itself was cozy and had plenty of room, though the Nook Pub below was noisy, so it wasn’t the best choice if you’re looking to catch early sleep – which we didn’t need.

The location worked well for our trip, and the room was tidy with a comfortable bed and friendly staff. The building is old and the low ceiling made moving around a bit of a hassle. We missed the included breakfast because it didn’t start until 9 am and we had to leave before then; we were only offered cereals instead, which weren’t the same. It felt pricey for what it offered.

Staff were helpful and polite, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Nothing to complain about.

The place is in a great spot, breakfast is fantastic, and having two different pubs directly under the hotel really adds to the experience. Nothing else to note – everything was fine.
