The location was fine, but the hotel feels old and lacks décor.

It’s a bit outside the city centre, which gave us time to explore a different area. The old building is nice but very comfortable. The staff were friendly.

We liked the amenity tray in the bathroom; many hotels skip those items and when you’re traveling you sometimes need them. The spot was safe and the balcony in our room looked out over a lovely fountain in the middle of a roundabout. Even with the foot traffic and cars, the room stayed quiet at night. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby. The downside was the limited storage: no shelves, so unpacking a full suitcase was hard, and the counter space was tight.
