“There is no KRS hotel to go to!”
There is NO hotel! Don’t book this place because it turned into apartments. I was without a hotel on June 13, 2026, and it was a tough situation due to a major conference timing.

Great budget option: the room has a kettle but no fridge, it's spacious, self‑check‑in works, and a bus stop right below the window lets you hop around the city.

My son stayed with you and was absolutely thrilled.

The family vibe is warm and welcoming, but the TV offers too few channels, a fourth seat would help for a group of four, and the fridge that came with the room was broken.

Fantastic central spot, just a hop off the bus stop for east and west Kristiansand, close to the Otra river and Bystranda beach; the beds are soft, large, and the room is roomy for the price. The TV, kettle, and a bit of tea are in the room, and the balcony is lovely. The bathroom is clean, service is quick and efficient, and checking in is a breeze. We’ll definitely return. The downside is the lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom—there’s a rack for large items but no spot for hand towels. The shower plumbing could use a tweak, the kettle table was dusty, and there’s no on‑site food, so if you’re not planning to eat out for all meals it’s a bit inconvenient.
