Very clean, well‑located, and well equipped. The listing didn’t mention that it was in the basement of an old house, so there are stairs and it’s very dark because all lights must stay on (which was the case when we arrived, so we couldn’t see the lack of light). Curtains cover the bedroom windows to hide the view of the house’s exterior floor, and the back wall of the kitchen is hidden by curtains that conceal all the electrical panels, gas pipes, modem connections, etc. Very poorly sound‑proofed, with the stairs to the upper floor making it feel like people are walking on your head and you can hear them talking because the other two floors were occupied. And a super TV that isn’t wired, not even a basic cable, forcing you to use your own connection on a laptop or phone and create an account on their TV. Bad experience!

“Great for those on short trips, it was very clean and other guests were very respectful.”

Convenient stop on the way to Montreal. No bedside table or lamp on one side of the bed. The bathroom lacks hooks for dressing gowns or cosmetic bags, and there’s no shelf in the shower for your own products. We should have known the property had been sold, apparently three months before our stay, especially since we had to go out for breakfast because the new owner doesn’t provide it. We received a $12 voucher that covers a basic breakfast but had to pay extra for coffees. Earlier reviews praised breakfast, which was a deciding factor for us.

Cleanliness, proximity to St. Laurent, and available kitchen and spa. Everything was very clean. The room and bed were cramped. The bathroom was shared with occupants of four other rooms.

The room was tiny, and there was only one full bathroom for five double rooms. Still, it was clean.
