We stayed one night at the boarding house and liked it. Everything was tastefully furnished and clean. Parking could be rented directly at the house for 10,00 EUR per night. A bakery for breakfast was right nearby. There was nothing to complain about.

The location is great, tucked into a quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance of shops, the train station, and more. It’s perfect if you enjoy outdoor activities, walking, or running. The rooms, however, are much smaller than they appear in the photos, so keep that in mind. The first room I received had a noticeable paint smell, even though the host denied it—luckily I caught it myself. For the first time, a host called me stupid for asking for a room change. On my last day I went for a long run (40 km) on a beautiful rainy morning along the Rhine River, only to discover my room was locked and the code no longer worked 30 minutes before check‑out. The host likely forgot the check‑out arrangement and never offered an apology. This delayed review is to ensure it’s helpful.
