This place was a total disaster - the room was filthy, with broken sheets, stains everywhere, and a sofa with holes in it. The bathroom was disgusting too. The only remotely nice part was the receptionist, who tried his best to communicate in English despite not speaking it. But when I asked for a refund, the manager turned nasty and even threatened me, saying he had my passport.

The staff here were really friendly, but that's about where the positives end. The place was super basic and run-down - I'd call it a homestay at best. The room was clean, but the bathroom was a safety hazard, with a slippery floor that caused one of our kids to have a major fall, and loose wires and tape residue all over the place. The pictures definitely didn't match up with reality, and the location wasn't great either, in a residential area with no shops or restaurants nearby.

We showed up to find out they'd lost our booking, despite having it on the books for months. We had to pay extra because of their mistake, and they tried to blame it on a change in management, which isn't exactly our problem. The room was pretty shabby, with low water pressure that made showers impossible, and one of the rooms had a busted air conditioner, so we had to use a fan instead.

The pool was clean and pretty big, which was a plus. But the rooms were a letdown - mine had hair in the shower and a weird tobacco smell throughout. One room was slightly better than the other, but still had dodgy carpet. And get this, they weren't super helpful when we needed to book a taxi.

We had a real mess with this hotel - they overbooked and somehow forgot we were even in their system, even though they'd already taken money from our credit card. They sent us to another one of their hotels that was way lower quality, basically a $20 place that we'd paid $60 for. To make matters worse, they'd booked us for 4 beds but only gave us 3, and the new hotel was noisy, smelly, and didn't even serve breakfast, which we'd already paid for.
