The lady who rents it out is amazing, the whole house is brand‑new and smells great, and the pillows are the best I’ve ever had. I couldn’t pay by card—had to transfer money—though everything else was convenient; the location isn’t what Booking shows. You have to climb a hill to get there and it’s far from everything. Once you arrive, you’ll feel lazy and won’t want to come down.

The location was superb and exceeded all my expectations; Mrs. Aurica’s warmth and kindness were unlike anything I’ve experienced elsewhere. I recommend this place wholeheartedly and will definitely return when I go back to Maramu. I have nothing negative to mention.

The evening spot is worth it from every angle. The pension is set in a quieter area (not on the main street), so traffic is minimal and we could enjoy peace and nature. The forest is right behind, and turning your head reveals mountain peaks and hills. The owners are extraordinary, energetic, and very kind. We received a very clean room with everything in order—clean linens, quality sheets, airy and bright rooms, towels, slippers, Wi‑Fi, cable TV, and a flat‑screen TV in each room. The courtyard is nicely landscaped, with a large gazebo for barbecues and nothing is missing there. The separate kitchen is well equipped with dishes, pots, an oven (OGLINDĂ! – and it wasn’t new), tongs, salt, pepper, napkins, enough glasses, towels, and clean tablecloths. Coffee, tea, and even brandy are provided by the house, and the view and landscape are amazing. We will definitely come back; it’s a quiet spot with beautiful surroundings! Vișeu (by train) is a few minutes by car, Mănăstirea Bârsana is an hour away, and many other attractions are nearby. The lady prepares breakfast on request, served with great respect for the guest. Rarely do you find such courtesy. It’s encouraging to discover here! Congratulations to the hardworking and kind lady. No complaints.
