The lunch and dinner were excellent, but the dormitory had no windows; it was hot, so I would have chosen a private room if I had known. Two people arrived around 10 pm in our four‑person dorm; we slept through the night but didn’t actually rest, like in a cabin. Still, the dorms are always like that.

The bike storage and early baggage drop were very convenient, and the staff were accommodating and helpful, yet the room felt a bit basic because there was no proper door into the bathroom.

Die Lage ist perfekt, das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Garage für die Autos und Motorräder ist fabelhaft. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Gesamteindruck vom Base Camp Lodge ist perfekt. Sehr harte Matratze. Das Waschbecken befindet sich direkt im Zimmer. Beim Duschen kann das Wasser schnell ins Zimmer laufen. Im WC befindet sich außerdem kein Abzug. Wenn die Tür des Nachbarzimmers früh morgens um 6 Uhr zugeknallt wird, wird man ebenfalls geweckt. Die Türen fallen automatisch sehr stark ins Schloss und erzeugen dabei ein lautes Geräusch
