The shower water was nice, and the front desk was great—thanks to them for reminding me to buy the Machu Picchu train tickets and for suggesting a suitable queue time. The station is really close. The room was small, but that didn’t matter because I didn’t have much luggage. The bed was small too, yet comfortable, so that wasn’t a big issue. Overall, the price‑to‑quality ratio at the hot water place isn’t very good.

The location is spot‑on! The windows block street noise in a brilliant way 🙌🏻. The bed isn’t very comfy and makes a lot of noise when you move.

It’s a decent spot for a short stay, with plenty of luggage storage and common areas to wait for the train. We only had breakfast one of the two days; it was a buffet with lots of variety but the quality was ordinary. There wasn’t enough space for all guests. On the second day we checked out later, the tables were dirty and there wasn’t enough cleaning staff, so we decided to eat elsewhere.
