This family-run English pub serves breakfast (7am-9am, Tue-Fri) and features two bars with local ales, a pool table, and live sporting events. Legoland and Wokingham centre are nearby, with easy motorway access and nearby golf clubs, including The Blue Mountain and The Berkshire.

The place is only a 15‑minute walk to Bracknell’s town centre, plus it sits on a bus route and has parking. The bedroom was spacious and looked out onto the beer garden. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast, free of charge from Tuesday to Friday, was very good. Wi‑Fi worked well. All in all, a nice stay that offered good value for money.

We chose the place because it was perfect for a party, so that part worked well. However, the hotel felt very worn out; the bathroom was a small, cubical space that was clean but cramped and tired.

The beds were split apart and uncomfortable, the room was hot and had no ventilation, AC, or fan. On top of that, breakfast was included in the stay, but on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday there was no breakfast at the hotel, which was a real let‑down.
