The place is barely decent, the room was filthy, only one mug, not enough towels, the bar was closed even though it’s supposed to be a hotel, I wasn’t told beforehand, parking was non‑existent, the sheets were ripped and disgusting, and the bathroom taps were filthy.
“First and last visit”
The building’s façade looks nice, but parking is a nightmare, there’s no bar service, no restaurant, the bathrooms are awful and there’s no soundproofing.
friendly staff. soap & toiletries
It’s a tiny, compact village right next to Ascot, which closes at 23h00, a real little gem, though the old listed building might not suit everyone.
“Functional”
The location is great for the railway station, which offers free overnight parking, but the décor is incredibly dated and poor; I’m usually not picky, but the bathroom phone was discoloured, the room was oddly equipped – no drinkware, plenty of sockets but no USB, and the lights were strangely wired.
