“Urlaub”

We liked how quiet the hotel was, and the breakfast was always excellent with friendly staff. The beach was just 100 m away, and Riccione itself was a nice place. When we arrived to check‑in, we were told we had to go to another hotel 100 m away, a detail that was nowhere in the booking. The room itself was clean, but it clearly had outlived its prime: the bathroom showed signs of age, the toilet seat was loose, the light fixtures were missing from the bathroom furniture leaving ugly holes, and the hair dryer was unusable. The view was mixed; on the first floor we had a courtyard view that let us see gas cylinders, discarded furniture, and other clutter, but from the balcony we could catch a small glimpse of the sea, which was a small consolation.

Breakfast was simple but adequate. There was no one at reception, so we had to go to the nearby Hotel Hawaii, nobody was at the bar, and the hotel entrance looked a bit sad – a shame.

“Bueno para desconectar, con mejoras pero buena ubicacion!”

The location was spot on, but every morning I had the door opened two or three times; they should put a “do not disturb” sign or something because if you want to sleep you’re not allowed to. Also the shower had mold in the corners, and when I turned on the air‑conditioning it dripped all night, soaking the whole room, so I had to use my towels for that, and the cleaning staff looked at me oddly when I asked for a change.
