The location was quite good and the apartments were pretty well. The neighborhood was noisy and rather unsafe, with fights heard. They forget to mention on the page that there are no elevators, so you have to haul your luggage up several flights of stairs.

The location was in the heart of the city, and the facilities matched the photos. There were no stairs to go up (neither to reception nor to the apartment). Some nighttime noise.

Room 11 was roomy, tidy, with a comfy bed; the ensuite had a good shower and I had a large balcony overlooking Table Mountain. The staff were friendly. The noise from a nearby venue was totally unacceptable and far louder than the “quite noisy” description; it could cause “an inconvenience some of the time” as mentioned in an email the day before I arrived. Every night of my 4‑night stay involved loud thumping music that could be heard even with ear plugs, starting early evening until the early hours. The staff offered to contact the venue when I complained, but that had minimal impact and was short‑term; after about an hour the volume would rise again. It was impossible to sleep before 2 am at the earliest. For that reason I would not recommend staying here.

The place had a vibrant atmosphere. The bathroom was too small and the staircase was too narrow.
