“The people make up for what this place lacks”

Simona at the front desk went above and beyond. We asked her about a problem we had, and she immediately called the relevant agencies and resolved it within minutes. What she managed would have taken us, as travelers from another continent, hours or even days. We’re grateful she stepped up and fixed things so we could keep our trip on track. The location is convenient and the gated free onsite parking is a plus. The room could use a little work.

The stay was unfortunately below expectations. The room showed clear signs of wear that hurt its comfort and overall impression. The heating didn’t work, and we were only told about that after we asked, rather than being informed at check‑in. Another issue was the parking: we were told we could still enter after 23:00 thanks to staff opening the gate, but when we returned the gate stayed closed and we got no response to our attempts to contact them. It’s a shame, because the property has good potential and could offer a very different experience with better room upkeep and guest support.

The location (despite ongoing road works), the reception, the size of the room, and the bathroom were all good. The breakfast, room cleanliness, lack of a blanket, water not refilled after use, and absence of disposable toilet accessories like a vanity set were disappointing.
