The staff welcomed us warmly, and the location is perfect for starting a walk. The room was comfortable with a good bed and shower; the lack of permanent carpet is a real plus for allergies and cleanliness. Breakfast was generous. Service was solid and everything we needed was there. However, the noise from guests upstairs using the toilet or shower was overwhelming, ruining our sleep. During breakfast the air‑conditioning was sometimes too loud and set far too cold, so I had to pull on my scarf and jacket; when it shut off it was just right, but it cycled on and off roughly every 10 minutes, which was frustrating.
