I was pleasantly surprised by the change of scenery and the location close to the royal palace; the room was superb and very typical. The breakfast was a bit brief but still very friendly.

The old construction style was charming, and the lady was very nice. The mosques were a downside.

The location was beautiful. The shower water was cold.

The Balinese house felt very authentic, with independent rooms in a spectacular garden and a movie‑themed bathroom. The owner was the best part of our trip. I liked everything.

I had a true Balinese experience at this family‑run B&B, where the warm hospitality made me feel at home. A small mix‑up with my check‑in date was handled graciously, with the host quickly preparing the room and offering a complimentary breakfast the next day as an apology. The breakfast itself was a highlight, featuring a beautiful Traditional Balinese Nasi Kuning with chicken, egg, tempeh manis, veggies, and sambal, plus a colorful array of Balinese desserts topped with fresh coconut and palm sugar, all homemade, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The property is enchanting, with lush gardens, traditional wooden structures, hand‑carved details, and statues that create a serene village feel. The peaceful, green environment has little pathways leading to cozy seating areas where you can relax and soak up the surroundings. What I loved most was the atmosphere—it feels like you’re welcomed into someone’s home, not just checking into a hotel. The family genuinely cares about their guests, and that spirit of hospitality makes the stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for an authentic, tranquil, and welcoming stay in Bali, away from the commercial bustle, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It’s a little slice of true Bali.
