My first visit to Samos could not have been set in a better place; this property is a rare little gem that blends refined, character-filled, Spartan-like minimalism with a romantic and intellectual atmosphere. The room captured me with its unique identity, where beauty lies in exquisite simplicity—walls adorned with stunning pastel‑blue nature prints that evoke deep peace. The balcony offers a magnificent sea view, and the unexpected detail of a full set of plates, glasses, cups, and cutlery in the room was a thoughtful touch I rarely see, even in top hotels. Although the design doesn’t focus on conventional comfort, I slept in two different beds in two different rooms—both perfectly comfortable despite my spinal issues—and the hotel offers moments of pure poetry, like the beautiful upstairs space with inviting chairs, books, and magazines that invite relaxation. What truly made the stay unforgettable was Manolis—a cheerful, exceptionally kind person who embodies authentic hospitality and attends to every detail to make guests feel at ease. It is a place for the soul—vibrant and poetic—and I wholeheartedly recommend it and hope to return. The only regret is that we stayed only two nights.

The real treasure of the property is its owner, Mr. Manolis, who treats all guests like family. The hotel has a perfect location, very calm, though only a 3‑minute walk from the main street. We had a very short stay to be able to look through the huge library inside. If lucky to return to Samos, we’ll come to Mr. Manolis again.

Manolis is very helpful and pleasant in every way; the rooms are always spotless, and the view is outstanding.
