The spot is tucked away in nature with a lovely garden, the kaiseki dinner overlooking the garden was fantastic, and the breakfasts had a great vibe.

The place is ideal for a stay on Mount Yoshino; a short walk leads to Main Street where you can catch the bus up to the viewpoint. The rooms are very traditional, with tatami mats and super comfortable futons. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the onsen is nice and hot. The meal was exceptional, featuring 12 courses! As a vegetarian, the talented chefs accommodated my diet by preparing a wonderfully tasty and seasonal meal on short notice. A very special place! The only downside is that the onsen’s view of the private garden area could be a bit nicer.
